AppleScript removes damaged icons in Finder. Ikonoklast is a small AppleScript to get rid of wrong or damaged file and folder icons which occur in Panther's Finder by the click of a button (until the next occurence). This script just deletes the file com.apple.finder.plist in the current user's Preferences folder und then relaunches the Finder. You'll need to re-edit Finder's view options after running. Why did I write this poor little script? Well, it's very pesky when you need to go to the Preferences folder nearly every day to delete the concerning file and restart, for this icon problem is pretty persistent.
