Hollywood Vocabulary (RE)

HollywoodVocabulary is aimed at people with various Russian language learning levels. In the program we connected famous Hollywood films, scientific approach and people's wish to learn Russian. The study material is based on Hollywood pictures.

Download the HollywoodVocabulary software and Learn Russian! We launched the program software aimed to the development of skills and abilities in a spoken language. You don't need to memorize the whole information, you learn only the most common and used words which are indeed necessary. Based on the frequency principle our program assists you not only to learn words, but also word-combinations, phrasal verbs and idioms. The Russian Language Course "HollywoodVocabulary" includes levels; each of them contains definite number of different levels dictionaries. Using these dictionaries, you can make your schedule to learn a language. Our program software is aimed at people with various Russian language learning levels. In HollywoodVocabulary we connected famous Hollywood films, scientific approach and people's wish to learn Russian. The study material is based on Hollywood pictures' subtitles. Due to constructing the frequency dictionaries and making analysis more objectively we used pictures of different time periods. We began to add subtitles from different movies by turns. Each time we examined changes in an obtained dictionary. At the beginning, the words list brought to a stop to alter in the dictionary. The changes' termination served for us as a sign, that this part of the dictionary was ready. The supplement of new subtitles does not influence on its content. Almost every word has more than one variant of translation into Russian. To understand, which forms of the words translation are most used in movies, we analyzed a core of sentences contained these words. It means that our dictionaries hold not only lists of words and phrases, but also their translation organized the same way, i.e. the frequency principle. That principle to give data allows progressing very quickly, because the most important words are learned the first.
