Volume Keys provides three hotkeys for volume control: increase, decrease, and mute (on and off). Volume changes occur in 5% steps, and you can map each function to any key. The program supports the volume setting of selectable individual lines or of the mixer's master line\; selectable adjustment intervals\; dynamic overwriting of volume settings of other programs\; soft muting (avoids cracks at high volume levels)\; and direct volume control via a Wave/Midi mapper (if no mixer is available). The program runs as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar.\
