is a command-line utility which provides you with more information than you ever wanted about your text files. The program computes such information as: file size, number of lines, shortest and longest lines, average line length (with and without blank lines), amount of white space, number of pages printed at a specific number of lines per page, number of words, longest and shortest words, average word length, number of sentences and words per sentence, long words which are longer than a specific number of characters, fog index (readability index), and more. Text Information can optionally display charts which depict character occurrences, length of words, and number of characters per line.
