The program lets you use any Internet (TCP/IP-based) application under a proxy server, including e-mail (POP3/SMTP), IRC, and news (NNTP). When used with a remote public proxy, HTTPort hides your Web pathways from any local network administrators. In addition, it includes proxy authorization, and statistics reporting. The program runs as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar.
