allows you to copy the contents of edit and list boxes as well as static and button fields to the Clipboard. This utility can be handy for copying browser lists, as well as items displayed by other applications to which you otherwise have no access. Count Characters can also help one understand how applications are built, in terms of what types of controls are being used. You can find out, at any given time, how many characters and words you have entered in a given form, which might be useful, for example, in a Web site that requires only a specific number of characters to be entered in their fields but does not let you know if you went over until it is too late. You can also double check the length of META tags, and copy the name of any given control followed by its contents to the Clipboard. In addition, the program enables you to copy the readable contents of password edit fields to the Clipboard, which can be handy if you have forgotten to write down the password.
